A Wedge Issue With Unwanted Noise?

I could easily use a router to cut the purfling channel for my tail end.  I do, however, love to use my lovely handtools and if I used a router I would not have been able to listen to the John Dowland lute Gaillard I had playing in the shop.  Take the time to learn handtools and you might find, like I have, that they offer a much more enjoyable experience to whirring, buzzing, screeching machines.  As an added bonus, you aren't creating fine dust that requires a dust mask (not to mention ear protection for all the dreadfull noise).
